About Cricminds
Cricminds is a platform designed primarily to serve the Nepalese cricket community — both international and domestic — with in-depth statistics and insightful data visualizations. It provides fans, analysts, and players access to ball-by-ball cricket data aggregated and analyzed from a wide range of matches and tournaments.
Purpose
The primary aim of this website is to promote, showcase, and analyze Nepalese cricket performances at the international level and, where possible, in domestic leagues. Cricminds enables users to generate customized insights such as batter comparisons, progressive stats, player performance tracking, and much more.
Coverage
Currently, Cricminds includes ball-by-ball data from:
- ODI (One Day Internationals)
- T20 Internationals
- Indian Premier League (IPL)
- Nepal Premier League (NPL)
Data is available from 2002 onwards, although some matches (around 100+) may be missing due to unavailability or incomplete scorecards.
Limitations
- No comprehensive data from other Nepal domestic tournaments except the Nepal Premier League as of now.
- Match coverage is not exhaustive — a few international matches are currently missing.
- Complete player information is missing as of now.
Upcoming Features
- Bowler Progressive: Visualize how bowlers perform over time, match by match.
- Batsman vs Bowling Type Matchup: Analyze batter performance against different bowling types (spin/fast, left-arm/right-arm).
- Home-Away Records: Home/Away and stats against a group of teams.
- Phase-wise batting/bowling statistics for each team.
